Potentially Inevitable
Since it seems this is a thing people may not have understood/remembered/realized at first, this image back from when Doc Scratch first took over explains a bit of what is going on! For Acts 1-4 of Homestuck, we were in one session, the Red Session, with John and Rose and Dave and Jade. For Act 5.1 of Homestuck, we were in a different session, the Blue Session, with all the trolls. Act 5.2 returned to the Red Session. We’re now finally on Disc 2, Act 6 — the Green Session! With Jane and Jake and two more kids whose names have not been revealed. This is the universe that we’ll be spending Act 6 in. Does that mean we won’t see anyone else? Not necessarily — the trolls were still in Act 5.2, but it was focused on the Red Session. We may see the Red Kids and the trolls, but we’ll be seeing them in context of the Green Session. Act 7 will be the final act of Homestuck, we can see from this image, and it’s White — the combination of the three primary colors of Red, Green, and Blue. At which point, all the characters we’ve met so far will be posing as a team, because the universe is real.
